Coincide...I'm so sorry you've been in so much pain. Coincidentally I started a posture improvement regimen about three weeks ago after receiving a comment from someone I cared about. My first reaction was to be totally irked until I took a minute to appreciate that the comment was true - that every year I was only getting more hunched over despite the fact that I keep talking about "doing something." So I'm now really trying. I'll be wishing you good luck every time I'm do my exercises. (It has been really depressing to realize how I've left crucial muscles shorten/tighten up - but hopefully it's not too late to reverse.) Love you - JuiceAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8418939.post-58868123318373180202009-05-07T12:37:00.001-04:002009-05-07T12:37:00.001-04:00Nerissa, you are far from a terrible storyteller! ...Nerissa, you are far from a terrible storyteller! You have always been a fabulous storyteller, both in your songs and in your books. It is about as inaccurate to call yourself a bad storyteller as it is to call Jesus an atheist.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8418939.post-83787546345816951682009-05-07T10:24:00.000-04:002009-05-07T10:24:00.000-04:00I had to laugh. I've been in PT for the past few ...I had to laugh. I've been in PT for the past few months because my neck and shoulders were in such bad shape that I'd get blinding, behind-the-eyes headaches. My PT informed me that I have a weak upper body, no butt strength (though good lower body strength), and spend too much of my time hunched over (at the computer, etc.). PT has helped greatly, my posture has improved (I am also much more conscious of it) and no headaches in 4 months!
(Though I was told that, say, carrying a 4.5 year old on my back and a 3 year old in front might not have been the wisest thing I'd ever done.)

I hope it keeps working for you, my friend.krishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03000832911239038894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8418939.post-79438389301481913412009-05-06T23:52:00.000-04:002009-05-06T23:52:00.000-04:00I've been thinking about and not doing the posture...I've been thinking about and not doing the posture thing for a year now, too. I was inspired by Esther Gokhale and her book "8 Steps to a Pain Free Back" (what a title, eh?). She did a talk at Google that you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yYJ4hEYudE

I'm planning to join you on the posture goal this month, too.Amstrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15288210594697010215noreply@blogger.com
